Spring Buffet at Letchworth Golf Club
We are trying a new venue for this event. The two-course buffet menu will include: Peppered Roast Sirloin, Teriyaki Sesame Salmon, Homemade Sausage Rolls accompanied by: Hot Roasted New potatoes, Selection of Salads and Breads followed by: “Build Your Own” Eton Mess, Mixed Fruit Salad and Apple Crumble & Custard. Tea & Coffee included. £33 per head.

Coffee & Chat at Dunhelm Cafe, Stevenage
Returning after its winter break, this venture is led by Janet Peach and is for the any members of the Club, together with husbands / wives / partners. Please let her know by the previous Sunday if you are attending. It is self-pay on the day.
12th March
Theatre Trip to see “Into the Woods”, Bridge Theatre, London
We have reserved 10 tickets at £50 each (face value of these seats is £89.50) for Thursday 12th March 2026 @ 2.30pm.
The trip will be a self-train to London Bridge station with a short easy walk to the theatre and an ‘easy access’ area for us has been requested. If you would like to come on this trip, please pay £50 to Tony Hall / the Club’s Bank Account to confirm your seat ASAP.

Morning Guided Tour of Buckden Towers
Buckden Towers has a rich history dating back to the original wooden structure of around 1086 through a number of demolitions, rebuilds and interesting changes of use. Following a guided tour we will head off for a pub lunch. Self-drive, £5 entry.
24th May
6 Day coach trip to Northern Ireland
Coach will pick up at Stevenage, Hitchin St Marys Square, Letchworth Station & Baldock bus stop C or D. There are currently a very few seats remaining. £895 per head (£50 deposit).

St Paul’s Cathedral – Two Option Trip
This will be a self-train trip from North Herts/Beds stations to City Thameslink Station on the ‘Brighton’ trains. From City Thameslink station it is a short walk up Ludgate Hill to the Cathedral.
Option 1: Entry to St Paul’s Cathedral with self-guided audio description tour of Cathedral floor and crypt. £25
Option 2: An extra one-hour tour to the Triforium including the Library, the Trophy Room and Great Model, as well as a spectacular view down from the top of the iconic Geometric Staircase and another down the nave from above the Great West Doors. Those taking part in the optional Triforium tour will join that planned and meet up with those not doing it afterwards. There is a restaurant in the cathedral for lunch or many more options on the doorstep. Return journey to Herts/Beds at your leisure. £45
